Kids Marathon: Total participants 1000
7th Aug 2016, Sunday, 5 AM, Beach Road, Puducherry

In India, it is estimated that nearly 40 to 50000 new childhood cancer cases occur each year. 70% children with cancer still die of disease in india due to lack of awareness. The main aim of this event is to create an awareness on intake of foods and promoting the importance of physical fitness and keep your children healthy.

40 skaters from "Michael Skating Academy” participated in this marathon. Age group 3- 5, 6-8, 9-12 & 13-15 years. All our students completed marathon successful.
So proud of our academy students.

I thank Dr.J.Arawindhan, MD, Achariya Educational Group of Institutions for having given us the wonderful opportunity to organise the “1st Open State Roller Skating Championship 2016” between 27th, 28th & 29th May 2016 at Government Skating Rink,Lawspet, Puducherry.

Achariya Educational group of institutions Hosted

1st Open State Roller Skating Championship ‘2016 which was organised by Michael Skating Academy and held on 27th to 30th May’16 at Government Skating Rink, Lawspet. Pondicherry.

Around 147 skater from Pondicherry and 90 skaters from Tamil Nadu (Chennai, Kovai, Krishnagiri, Dindigul, Selam & Madurai) district participated in the happening.

Mr. Michael said of the event Laser technique was used, to note the correct timings of the race completion of the skater and LED screen both was set first time in the history of Puducherry. Special show up was Medical Help desk from Be Well Hospital for the safety and immediate first aid of skaters which consisted of a doctor, nurse and a physio.

I acknowledge my regards to all respective coach from Puducherry & Tamil Nadu, official, committee members, volunteers and our MSA members and parents for their dedication and hard work. The Volunteers on duty had done their job perfectly and in an excellent manner. My special thanks to all of them.

I thank our sponsors for giving its enormous support financially.

A Special thanks to Abbas Iqbal Lasania , Team Coach of Telangana who came all the way to Pondicherry.

Wonderful parents without them nothing would be possible. I salute your investment in your children and you should be extremely proud of their achievements. Let us pray and hope that skaters will always continue to strive and excel in future.
